PREDICTIVE MODELING EXTINCTION PHENOMENA IN SHALLOW WATERS
(pp. 3-9)

Abstract. The paper covers the environmental modeling problems of emergence and fish extinction phenomena spreading. The mathematical hydrodynamic shallow water model taking into account sediment transport and eutrophication, including equations of motion in the three coordinate directions is constructed. The hydrobiological processes proceeding in natural reservoirs are described by non-linear differential equations systems in partial derivatives. At the same time it is necessary to consider dynamics of the reservoir bottom profile as a result of wave processes. The equations, which describe the reservoir bottom modification where water and solids move in one direction, are applied to the sea sediments dynamics description. There are equations of level change for oxygen, nitrogen, phosphorus and hydrogen sulphidе also. To solving the difference problem we are using the splitting into physical processes method (method of amendment to the pressure). The initial step does not satisfy the continuity equation for the velocities in general. To sampling we use method of splitting into physical processes. It opens up additional possibilities – it allows us to save the divergent views of the convection, viscous and gravitational terms. The splitting method is combined with the use of sampling at the space variables of finite element approximations on curvilinear grid. The grid is built curvilinear on two horizontal coordinates. Vertical coordinate of grid is rectilinear with equal step taking into account a bottom relief. In this paper we construct a spatially non-uniform hydrodynamics model of the of shallow reservoirs based on sediment transport and eutrophication. The union in the proposed hydrodynamics model equations and sediment transport equations bottom will allow to estimate the mass of sediment in the shallow water body bottom surface that is essential for modeling extinction phenomena in the Sea of Azov. Further it is planned to receive sufficient conditions of solution existence and uniqueness, to develop the complex of application programs allowing to solve numerically problem, and also to make numerical experiments.

Keywords: Mathematical model; Extinction phenomena; Eutrophication; Shallow water; Curvilinear grid.
