В рамках теории массового обслуживания построена математическая модель функционирования вычислительных систем (ВС) со структурной избыточностью. Получены оценки показателей функционирования ВС, в частности структурной избыточности. Предложены формулы для оценки вероятности нахождения ВС в состоянии низкой производительности в течение времени. Решения найдены в аналитическом виде. Ключевые слова: распределенные вычислительные системы; структурная избыточность; математическая модель; оценки показателей; анализ.
Abstract. Object of research are the distributed large-scale (homogeneous) computer systems (CS) with structural redundancy (reserve). It is required to calculate efficiency indices – reliability and robustness. Formulas for indices have to be simple and accepted for the analytical analysis. The methods of the queueing theory were used as a basic mathematical tool. At creation of model the assumption that large-scale CS can't refuse completely were made. It means that CS mode of working, at any moment, is: high performance or low performance. Performance is measured by number of working computer machines. Computer system states are described by Markov stochastic process with postulates of Poisson process. Feature of process is opportunity of transition from any returnable condition in an initial condition. Stay of CS in a mode of working of low performance is described by distribution function. The derivation of distribution function uses the offered stochastic process, but doesn't follow from it. It is connected with that the characteristic of stochastic process to be Markovis broken. The process of functioning of CS is investigated by methods of ordinary differential equations systems theory. The received formulas or their effective estimates are presentable. Results show that the number of structural redundancy (reserve) machines is small part of percent from total number of modern CS machines (if to consider their potential opportunities).
