Аннотация. Рассмотрена задача конструирования теста для проведения критериально-ориентированного тестирования и предложен алгоритм ее решения, который позволяет сконструировать тест, обеспечивающий минимальную среднюю дисперсию оценки уровня подготовленности тестируемых в зависимости от вероятностных характеристик контингента тестируемых и крите-риального балла.

AN ALGORITHM FOR CONSTRUCTING CRITERION-ORIENTED TEST

Abstract. The paper deals with a task of test constructing for carrying out a criterion-oriented testing. To estimate the test results Rasch model is used. It is analyzed a dependence of the accuracy estimating the latent parameters of Rasch model on contingent probabilistic characteris-tics. It is proposed and examined the algorithm for solving optimization task to minimize the average dispersion of person parameters esti-mation for ratio item parameters and criterion score. Attention is drawn to the need to know the prior distribution of person items. It is shown that the introduced optimization criterion is convex programming problem. Moreover, the algorithm is robust. The Fast Fourier Transform is used to compute a convolution of probability density functions. The optimization problem is solved by Nelder-Mead method.The developed approach is applied for two modeling examples: testing of usual students and testing specialists. For these examples the graphs of item parameters optimal distribution and standard deviation estimation of item persons are plotted. Simulation technique is implemented to verify a correctness of the developed approach.
